Preparation

  1. Put onion, water, dry white wine and crumbled stock cubes into a pan.
  2. Bring to the boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until liquid is reduced by half.
  4. Add cornflour and stir until sauce boils and thickens.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 2 minutes.
  6. Strain sauce, discarding onion.
  7. Put sauce into bowl and allow to cool.
  8. Add mayonnaise, shallots, MasterFoods Parsley Flakes, MasterFoods French Mustard, MasterFoods Horseradish Cream, MasterFoods Sea Salt and MasterFoods Black Peppercorns Ground.
  9. Mix well.
  10. Put sour cream in bowl.
  11. Beat until soft peaks form.
  12. Gently fold into mayonnaise mixture.
  13. Cover bowl.
  14. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
