MasterFoods Meat Tenderiser

MasterFoods Chinese Five Spice
2 tsp
 
MasterFoods Soy Sauce
1 tbsp
 
Hoisin sauce
1 tbsp
 
Dry Sherry
1 tbsp
 
Vegetable Oil
2 slices
 
Onion(s)
1 whole
Chopped 
Cornflour
1 tsp
 
Shallots (or Spring Onions)
2 whole
Sliced 

Preparation

  1. Place steak in shall dish, sprinkle with MasterFoods Meat Tenderiser and leave for 5 minutes.
  2. Combine MasterFoods Chinese Five Spice, MasterFoods Soy Sauce, Hoisin Sauce and dry sherry.
  3. Pour over meat and marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. Strain, reserving marinade.
  5. Heat oil in a wok.
  6. Stir fry onion for 1 minute.
  7. Add steak and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Blend reserved marinade and cornflour.
  9. Stir into wok.
  10. Stir fry until simmering and thickened.
  11. Sprinkle with shallots.
