MasterFoods Lemon Pepper Seasoning

Avocado
2 whole
Large and Ripe 
Lamb Steaks (Trim)
600 gm
Eye of Loin - Backstrap 
Olive Oil
1 tbsp
Extra 
MasterFoods All Purpose Seasoning
1 pinch
 
MasterFoods Seasoned Pepper
1 pinch
 

Preparation

  1. Preheat barbecue on medium-high.
  2. Place the onion and tomatoes in a large bowl.
  3. Drizzle the olive oil and white wine vinegar over the vegetables.
  4. Sprinkle with the MasterFoods Lemon Pepper Seasoning.
  5. Toss to combine.
  6. Cut the avocados in half lengthways and remove the stone.
  7. Cut in half lengthways, remove the skin and cut each quarter lengthways into 3 wedges.
  8. Add the avocado to the salad and toss gently to combine.
  9. Brush one side of the lamb with a little of the olive oil.
  10. Sprinkle with the MasterFoods All Purpose Seasoning and MasterFoods Seasoned Pepper.
  11. Cook on preheated barbecue for 5 minutes.
  12. Brush the top of the lamb with the remaining olive oil and sprinkle with the MasterFoods seasonings.
  13. Cook for a further 5 minutes.
  14. Transfer to a plate and cover loosely with foil.
  15. Set aside to rest for 5 minutes.
  16. Slice the lamb across the grain into 1cm thick strips.
  17. Serve with the Avocado Salad and crusty bread.
