500 gm
Cleaned and Sliced 
Bacon
2 rasher
Chopped 
Port
1/2 cup(s)
 
MasterFoods Thyme Leaves
1/4 tsp
 
MasterFoods Wholegrain Mustard
2 tbsp
 
Cream
1/2 cup(s)
 
MasterFoods Black Peppercorns Ground
1/2 tsp
To taste 

Preparation

  1. Heat butter in a small frying pan
  2. Add livers and bacon, cook until livers are firm but just pink. Remove from heat.
  3. Add port and MasterFoods Thyme, cool.
  4. In a blender or food processor, blend cooled mixture until smooth. Add the MasterFoods Wholegrain Mustard and cream, season to taste with MasterFoods Black Peppercorns.
  5. Place pate in a terrine or individual dishes and refrigerate until firm.
  6. Serve with crisp crackers or crusty bread.
