Ingredients
  • 4 cups (900 g) Chopped Beef
  • 1 cup (150 g) Chopped Onions
  • 2 cups (400 g) Chopped Tomatoes
  • 2 Sachets (175 g each) MasterFoods™ Beef and Red Wine Casserole Recipe Base
  • 4 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 cup (250ml, 8 fl oz.) Water
  • 2 pouches (250 g each) Uncle Ben’s® Golden Vegetable Rice

Method
  1. Place the chopped Beef, Onions and Tomatoes in a slow cooker and stir through the 2 sachets of MasterFoods™ Beef and Red Wine Casserole Recipe Base.
  2. Add Tomato paste, and the water, stir through, and cook for 4 hours on High or 8 Hours on Low (if you don’t have a slow cooker cook covered in a baking dish for 2 hours on 180°C).
  3. Prepare Uncle Ben’s® Golden Vegetable Rice as per the packet’s instructions and serve with the casserole. Great served with Steamed Vegetables.
