Oven Easy Creamy Herb & Garlic Potato Bake

Ingredients

1 kg Potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced

1 Onion (160 g), diced

4 Short Cut Bacon Rashers (120 g), diced

1 cup Light Thickened Cream (250 mL)

1 MasterFoods™ Creamy Garlic & Herb Potato Bake Recipe Base

1 cup Shredded Tasty Cheese (130 g)
Method

Preheat oven to 220 °C (190 °C fan forced).

Layer half the sliced potatoes in a medium sized baking dish, top with half the onion and bacon.

Layer remaining sliced potatoes followed by the remaining onion and bacon.

Combine light cream and Recipe Base in a jug and pour over potatoes, onion and bacon.

Cover dish with aluminium foil & bake for 45 minutes.

Carefully remove from the oven and top with cheese. Bake uncovered for a further 20 minutes or until potatoes are soft and cheese is golden brown

Serve as a side dish.

Try adding thinly sliced mushroom after the first layer of potatoes for a tasty twist.
